Lime Tree Seed Bug
Oxycarenus lavaterae
The adult lime tree seed bug occupies lime trees, shrubs, and sheltered urban plantings where its host plants grow. It feeds chiefly on seeds and plant fluids using a piercing rostrum, and can fly between suitable trees. Adults are notable for gathering in large overwintering aggregations in protected cracks and beneath bark.
