Guianan Brown Capuchin
Sapajus apella

Guianan brown capuchins inhabit tropical forests, woodland edges, and riverine forests across the Guianas. They move agilely through trees but also forage on the ground for fruit, seeds, insects, eggs, and small vertebrates. Adults use their dexterous hands to inspect food and manipulate tough items. This intelligent monkey can use stones and other objects as tools to open hard foods.
