Common Slender
Gracillaria syringella

The adult Common Slender is a small moth found around lilac shrubs, especially in gardens, hedgerows, and woodland edges. It flies chiefly at dusk and night, seeking mates and suitable leaves on which to lay eggs. Adults may take small amounts of floral nectar, while their offspring feed on lilac foliage.
