Coleman's Phyllodesmium
Phyllodesmium colemani
Adults inhabit shallow tropical reefs, particularly areas with abundant soft corals. They crawl deliberately over colonies and feed on xeniid and related octocorals with a rasping radula. The cerata can retain symbiotic algae obtained from their coral food, allowing the slug to benefit from photosynthetic products.
