Lesser Wax Moth
Achroia grisella

Adult lesser wax moths are nocturnal and fly around bee colonies, sheds, and other sheltered places where old comb may be available for egg laying. Adults have reduced mouthparts and generally rely on energy stored from their larval stage rather than feeding much. Males produce ultrasonic courtship signals that can be detected by females at close range.
