Spotted Sandperch
Parapercis hexophtalma

Adults inhabit sandy areas around coral reefs, lagoons, and coastal slopes. They rest on the seafloor before darting out to seize small crustaceans, worms, and fishes. The spotted body pattern provides effective camouflage against the uneven sand and rubble.
