Noisy Miner
Manorina melanocephala

Noisy Miners inhabit open eucalypt woodland, forest edges, parks, and gardens in eastern Australia. They forage actively for insects, nectar, fruit, and occasionally small invertebrates, often searching among foliage and on the ground. Their yellow eye patches and loud, varied calls make them conspicuous, and they vigorously drive intruding birds away from their feeding areas.
