Egyptian Fruit Bat
Rousettus aegyptiacus

Egyptian fruit bats roost in caves, abandoned buildings, and sheltered crevices across Africa and the Middle East. They emerge at dusk to feed mainly on ripe fruit, nectar, and occasionally leaves. Although they have large eyes and keen vision, they also use distinctive tongue clicks for echolocation while navigating in darkness.
