Dubious Dtella
Gehyra dubia
The dubious dtella is a nocturnal gecko of woodlands, rocky country, and buildings across much of northern and eastern Australia. It hunts insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates on trunks, walls, and ceilings after dark. Broad adhesive toe pads let it climb smooth vertical surfaces, while its variable mottled pattern conceals it against its surroundings.
