Marlier's Julie
Julidochromis marlieri

Marlier's Julie is a rock-dwelling cichlid endemic to the clear, hard waters of Lake Tanganyika in East Africa. It patrols boulder fields and narrow crevices, usually holding a small territory as a pair. Its diet consists mainly of small crustaceans, insect larvae, and other invertebrates picked from rock surfaces. A notably elongated body lets it slip into tight cracks where larger fish cannot follow.
