Common Flesh Fly
Sarcophaga aurifrons

Adult common flesh flies inhabit grasslands, farms, gardens, and human settlements where decaying material is available. They visit flowers for nectar but also feed on fluids from carrion, dung, and other organic waste. The adults are strong, quick fliers and can locate suitable breeding material from considerable distances.
