Azalea Leaf Miner
Caloptilia azaleella
The adult azalea leaf miner is a tiny moth found around azalea shrubs and other ornamental plantings. It flies chiefly around host plants, where females place eggs on suitable leaves for the next generation. Its narrow, fringed wings allow quick, fluttering flights despite its very small size.
