Oriental Flower Beetle
Protaetia orientalis
Adult Oriental flower beetles visit flowers, sap flows, and ripe fruit in warm woodland edges, gardens, and grassland habitats. They feed on pollen, nectar, fruit, and plant juices, and can fly between feeding sites. Their wing covers protect the folded flight wings beneath them while they crawl among blossoms.
