Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid
Apistogramma cacatuoides

Adults inhabit calm, warm tributaries and leaf-littered shallows of the Amazon basin. They hunt small aquatic invertebrates and defend feeding areas or breeding caves with quick charges and fin displays. Males are especially known for their tall, orange-tipped dorsal fin, which gives the species its cockatoo-like name.
