Cigarette Beetle
Sphaericus velhocabrali
The adult cigarette beetle occupies dry stored products and sheltered indoor spaces, especially where dried plant material is available. It is most active in dim conditions and can fly to locate new suitable sites. Although adults are small and brown, their larvae can cause significant damage by contaminating stored goods.
