Semi-slug
Parmarion martensi

Parmarion martensi is a nocturnal semi-slug found in damp forests, gardens, plantations, and other sheltered habitats in Southeast Asia and introduced Pacific regions. It feeds on soft plant material, fungi, and decaying organic matter, grazing with its rasping radula. During dry periods it hides beneath leaf litter, stones, logs, and other moist cover. Unlike a typical snail, it has only a small, flattened external shell that cannot fully enclose its body.
