Artichoke Plume Moth
Platyptilia carduidactylus
Adults occur around artichoke, cardoon, and thistle habitats, resting quietly on stems and foliage by day. They fly mainly at dusk or night and visit flowers for nectar. When at rest, the narrow wings are held in a distinctive T-shaped plume-moth posture.
