Willow Leafminer Moth
Phyllonorycter salicifoliella

The adult willow leafminer moth inhabits willow-rich woodland edges, wetlands, and streamside vegetation. It flies chiefly around host willows, where females lay eggs on suitable leaves for the next generation of miners. The small moth has narrow, fringed wings and can be difficult to spot when resting against bark or foliage.
