Common Damsel Bug
Nabis americoferus
The adult common damsel bug inhabits grassy fields, meadows, crop margins, and gardens. It hunts aphids, caterpillars, and other small insects by waiting quietly before seizing them with its front legs and piercing them with its beak. Adults have fully developed wings and can fly between hunting patches, though they often remain hidden among vegetation.
