Silkpurser
Trichophassus giganteus

Adult Silkpursers inhabit woodland and scrub where their larvae can find suitable leafy host plants. Winged adults are most active around dusk, flying through vegetation to locate mates and egg-laying sites. Adults live briefly compared with the larval stage, with much of their energy devoted to reproduction.
