Bean Goose
Anser fabalis

Bean Geese breed around northern tundra wetlands and migrate to lakes, marshes, and agricultural fields in winter. They feed chiefly by grazing grasses, sedges, roots, and spilled grain, often feeding on land near water. Their powerful wings carry them over long migration routes, and their orange-and-black bills are well suited to digging up roots.
