Sumatran Rhinoceros
Dicerorhinus sumatrensis

The Sumatran rhinoceros inhabits dense tropical rainforest, swamp forest, and nearby hills on Sumatra. It browses on leaves, shoots, twigs, bark, and fallen fruit, often feeding along well-used forest paths. Usually solitary, it marks its range and regularly wallows in mud to cool its skin and deter insects. It is the smallest living rhinoceros and the only Asian rhino species with two horns.
