Half-edged Wall Jumping Spider
Menemerus semilimbatus

The half-edged wall jumping spider is a small, flattened jumping spider commonly found on sunny walls, building facades, tree trunks, and rocky surfaces around the Mediterranean region. It hunts by stalking small insects and other arthropods with excellent vision before making a sudden, accurate leap. Rather than building a prey-catching web, it uses silk mainly for safety lines, retreats, and egg sacs. Its mottled grey-brown pattern helps it blend into stone and weathered walls.
