Blue Mint Beetle
Chrysolina coerulans
Adult Blue Mint Beetles inhabit herb gardens, hedgerows, and sunny patches where mint, thyme, and other aromatic plants grow. They feed by chewing leaves and may gather openly on host vegetation in warm weather. Their metallic blue-green wing cases are a notable feature, concealing functional flight wings beneath.
