Largid Bug
Stenomacra marginella

Adult largid bugs inhabit warm scrub, woodland edges, and gardens where suitable host plants grow. They feed chiefly on seeds, fruits, and plant juices, using a long beak-like mouthpart to pierce plant tissue. The fully winged adults can travel between food plants, while scent glands provide a chemical defense when disturbed.
