White Perch
Morone americana
Adult white perch live in estuaries, coastal rivers, lakes, and reservoirs across eastern North America. They feed opportunistically on crustaceans, aquatic insects, fish eggs, and small fish. Despite its name, this species is a temperate bass rather than a true perch.
