Clam Worm
Perinereis nuntia

Adult clam worms inhabit intertidal mudflats, sand, and rocky coastal shallows, retreating into sediment or crevices when disturbed. They are active scavengers and predators that feed on detritus, algae, and small animals. A muscular eversible proboscis equipped with jaws lets the worm seize food while its many bristles help it crawl and swim.
