Four-toothed Mason Wasp
Monobia quadridens

This solitary mason wasp inhabits woodland edges, gardens, and other places with sheltered nest cavities. Females build and partition nests with mud, then hunt caterpillars to provision each offspring. Adults also visit flowers for nectar. The female's four-toothed facial edge helps manipulate mud while constructing the nest.
