Tapestry Moth
Trichophaga tapetzella
Adults shelter in dim rooms, outbuildings, bird nests, and other dry places containing animal-derived fibers. They fly weakly but readily flutter away from disturbance and seek secluded places to lay eggs. Unlike the larva, the adult does not damage textiles; its main role is reproduction.
