Leaffolder
Cnaphalocrocis medinalis
The adult leaffolder is a small nocturnal moth found around rice-growing areas and other grassy vegetation. It flies after dusk, sipping liquids with its proboscis and seeking host plants on which to lay eggs. Its narrow brown wings bear pale wavy markings that help break up its outline when resting.
