Cabbage Bug Nymph
Eurydema oleracea (nymph)

Cabbage bug nymphs live on brassicas and other cruciferous plants in gardens, field margins, and meadows. Unable to fly, they crawl over leaves and feed by piercing plant tissues to drink sap. Their dark, spotted bodies become progressively more brightly patterned through successive molts, and they can release a pungent defensive secretion when disturbed.
