Canadian Goldenrod Leaf Beetle
Trirhabda canadensis
Adult Canadian goldenrod leaf beetles live on goldenrod plants in open fields, prairie edges, and weedy roadsides. They feed on goldenrod leaves and may fly between host plants when disturbed or searching for mates. Their orange-red wing covers and dark markings make them a conspicuous visitor on late-season goldenrod.
