Noctuid Moth
Aglaonice hirtipalpis
The adult noctuid moth is active chiefly after dark in wooded and scrubby habitats. It flies between resting sites and flowering plants, taking nectar where available. Its muted wing pattern provides camouflage when it rests with its wings folded against bark or leaf litter.
