Rook Fledgling
Corvus frugilegus (fledgling)

A rook fledgling has left the nest but remains close to trees, pastures, and farmland while it improves its flight. It makes short, uneven flights and follows adults to feeding areas, probing for worms, insects, seeds, and scraps. Its calls are frequent and demanding, especially when food is nearby. The face remains more fully feathered than an adult’s, making it look darker around the bill.
