Heavy Jumper
Carrhotus sannio
Heavy Jumper is a small jumping spider found in sunny grasslands, woodland edges, scrub, and vegetation across parts of Eurasia. It hunts by sight, stalking small insects and other arthropods before making a rapid, controlled leap. Its silk dragline acts as a safety tether during jumps, allowing it to recover if it misses its target.
