Buttoned Snout
Hypena rostralis

This small nocturnal moth occurs around woodland margins, hedgerows, gardens, and other places where nettles grow. Adults rest quietly through the day and fly after dusk, sometimes visiting flowers for nectar. Its long forward-projecting mouthparts give the moth its distinctive snout-like profile.
