Black Bearded Saki
Chiropotes satanas

Black bearded sakis inhabit the canopy and middle levels of Amazonian rainforest. They move through trees with rapid bounding leaps and use strong jaws to open tough fruits and seeds. Their diet also includes pulp, flowers, and occasional insects. Adult males are especially recognizable by their dense black coats and prominent beards.
