Wooly Gray
Lycia ypsilon

Adult Wooly Grays inhabit wooded areas and forest margins, where they are most active during the cooler hours around dusk. Males fly in search of mates, while the less mobile females remain concealed close to suitable egg-laying sites. The adult moth does not feed heavily, relying largely on energy stored during its caterpillar stage.
