Giraffe Weevil
Trachelophorus giraffa

Giraffe weevils inhabit humid forests of Madagascar, where they live among the foliage of their host trees. Adults feed on plant material, and females carefully roll leaves into protective chambers for their eggs. Males are notable for their exceptionally elongated necks, which give the species its common name.
