Confused Eusarca
Eusarca confusaria
The adult moth is active chiefly at night in woodland edges and shrubby habitats. It rests with its patterned wings held flat, blending into bark, dead leaves, and shadowed vegetation. Adults use their sensitive antennae to locate mates, while the wing pattern provides an important defense against predators.
