Phragmites Wainscot
Leucania phragmitidicola

The adult Phragmites Wainscot is a small noctuid moth associated with extensive reedbeds and other wetland vegetation. It flies chiefly after dark, resting quietly among reeds by day and visiting flowers for nectar when available. Its narrow, straw-brown wings closely resemble dried reed leaves, providing effective camouflage while at rest.
