Egg Parasitoid Wasp
Cosmocomoidea ashmeadi

Adult egg parasitoid wasps search foliage and other plant surfaces for the eggs of suitable insect hosts. They may feed on nectar, honeydew, or other sugary moisture while females use their ovipositors to place eggs within host eggs. Despite its almost microscopic size, an adult can fly between host patches to continue the next generation.
