Clown Nudibranch
Triopha catalinae

Adult clown nudibranchs inhabit cool Pacific coastal reefs and kelp-associated rocky bottoms. They crawl across hard surfaces to feed chiefly on bryozoans. Their vivid orange, white, and black markings serve as a conspicuous warning display, while fingerlike body projections increase their distinctive clownish appearance.
