Gorgonian wrapper
Nemanthus annamensis
The adult lives fixed to branching gorgonian corals on tropical reefs, spreading around the host's branches as it grows. Its tentacles capture zooplankton and suspended food from passing currents. A notable adaptation is its close, wrapping growth form, which can make the anemone resemble part of the gorgonian itself.
