Markhor
Capra falconeri

Adult markhor inhabit rugged mountain scrublands and open forested slopes in Central and South Asia. They browse grasses, leaves, and woody shrubs, often using steep terrain to evade danger. Males grow immense corkscrew-shaped horns and use them in dramatic seasonal contests for breeding access.
