Ghost Mantis
Phyllocrania paradoxa

Adult ghost mantises inhabit dry woodland and scrub, resting motionless among brown leaves and twigs. They ambush flies, moths, and other small insects, gripping prey with spined forelegs before feeding. Their leaf-like body shape and flattened leg lobes make the insect exceptionally difficult to spot, even when it is fully grown.
