Brewer's Blackbird
Euphagus cyanocephalus

Brewer's Blackbirds inhabit open fields, wetland edges, pastures, and towns across western North America. They forage mainly on the ground for insects, seeds, and grain, often walking briskly through short vegetation or shallow water margins. Males have glossy dark plumage with a purple-green sheen, while females are plainer brown. Outside the breeding season, they may gather at communal roosts with other blackbirds.
