Woolly Whitefly
Aleurothrixus floccosus
Adults live around citrus trees and other suitable host plants in mild, warm regions. They fly between leaves, feeding on plant sap with slender piercing mouthparts and seeking sheltered surfaces for egg laying. Their wings and body are dusted with white wax, making a disturbed adult look like a tiny drifting fleck.
