Filata Moth
Chloroclystis filata
Adult Filata Moths occur in wooded and shrubby habitats, where their muted green and patterned wings blend with vegetation. They are chiefly active at night and may visit flowers to drink nectar with their coiled proboscis. Like other geometrid moths, the adult's delicate-looking wings provide surprisingly agile, fluttering flight.
