Eastern Striped Skink
Ctenotus robustus

Eastern striped skinks live in open forests, heathland, grassland, and rocky ground across parts of eastern Australia. Active by day, they forage quickly over the ground for insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates. When disturbed, they race into leaf litter, crevices, or burrows; their long striped form is well suited to a fast, terrestrial lifestyle.
